Emily Stys grew up outside Detroit, Michigan completing her BFA while also working at multiple studios and schools in the area. She’s been a working actor out of NYC for the past 10 years, working for companies such as Disney Cruise Line, Tokyo Disney, Elf on tour, and now Mean Girls! Dance was her first passion, and once in college she began teaching competition routines and choreographing for local high school theatre departments. While stressing proper technique and training, she loves to dive into how our acting can better inform our performances onstage.
