Marlena is the co-owner of Old Town Tap in downtown Truckee. She has long had a romance with food and drinks, discovering her love for wine at a relatively young age while studying abroad in Italy. After getting a very useful undergraduate degree in fine arts from USC, she started her career in restaurants working in various types of establishments holding a multitude of positions. About a decade later, she got her MBA in Sustainable Management from Presidio Graduate School. After a short 2 year stint in venture capital (ick), she realized a lifelong dream of owning a restaurant when she opened Old Town Tap with her husband, Luke. She loves Truckee so much. When she’s not at OTT, you can find her doing all things outdoors with her dog, Shorty Pants and sometimes with her husband, Luke.
