Jen Callaway is Truckee’s Town Manager. Jen has worked in local government for 24 years and has a deep passion and sense of fulfillment with service to community. Jen and her partner Joe are grateful to call this area home, serve a community and region that is filled with natural beauty and where life is lived outdoors. Jen, and Joe, are currently building a home and spend most of their free time on this little “project”, either in construction mode or working on their property where you can find Jen working the loader or excavator moving rocks, dirt, snow, and tree debris. When managing the Town or working on their property, you can usually find Jen with a parade of dogs following her around, feeding them treats and providing lots of pets, out on the hiking trails, mountain biking or out on the water, enjoying and honoring this beautiful place we are fortunate enough to call home.
