Since I was a teen, I have carried the weight of a trauma that made me shrink, hide, and play small. It shaped how I interacted with the world, holding me back from fully embracing my true potential. Throughout the years, I’ve longed to dance on stage, yet fear and insecurity kept me from stepping into the spotlight. As I approach a milestone birthday, I’ve realized now is the time to reclaim my power. I am finally ready to allow myself to be vulnerable. With each step I take toward dancing, I am healing and transforming. It’s not just about the joy of movement; it’s about sharing that energy and love with the world. Life is too short and I’m choosing to step into the light and use my dance to spread love, joy, and strength. My story is one of overcoming fear and self doubt and I’m excited to dance through my next chapter with an open heart. I’m so grateful to dance at a studio like InnerRhythms that embraces everyone and all abilities.
